We finally received an interview notice-- not until Feb. 25. It feels like such a long ways away... (It seems the DC office moves a bit slower than other field offices on Visa Journey-- especially since we haven't had an RFE or anything.) I'm a bit annoyed that the "DC office" is in Fairfax, and isn't connected to the metro.

But still-- we are super grateful to have a date!!

Well, you actually got your notice faster than me! I still have not received any interview notice at all! Dallas is so slow it makes snails feel respected! I looked at several timelines and it may take up to 180 days to receive the green card here... I made peace with myself and embraced the fact that I may not receive any news from USCIS before the end of March 2014, if not even the end of April!

12-12-2011 - Curricular Practical Training (CPT) begins

12-12-2012 - Curricular Practical Training (CPT) expired

Our I-485 was placed in Testing and Interview status this morning.

Just a suggestion...When you receive a message that a card/document has been mailed make sure you copy the tracking number right away. Last night, we received an update with a tracking number for my wife's EAD, which we tracked right away. This morning we received a message stating that an EAD approval letter was mailed out, which wiped out the message with the tracking number. Hope this helps.

We submitted I-485, I-130 and I-765 last nov 18, 2013. I had my biometrics done on Dec. 18 but since then I have not receive any update snail mail or e-mail. I am wondering if there is more forms we should have submitted together withtheabove mentioned forms and requirements. Our papers were forwarded to National Benefits Center. I am getting anxious as my B2 visa expired on Nov. 19.

Me and my wife had a join bank account together but we not use them alot, because we usually pay cash. Would it be a issue about my bank statement?

I think it will be ok...you don't need to take a bank statement you could just take a check since it has both of your names and write void on it.

If you want to received text and email notification you have to go to uscis website and create and account and then add your cases using the case numbers
