Just received the text notification that my husband's EAD card is in production!!!dancin5hr.gifdancin5hr.gif So tell me, since we also applied for travel authorization so he can fly back to England for a week, does this mean it will be a combo card? The application for travel authorization has not been updated yet on USCIS website.

Congratulations and it should be a combo card if you applied at the same time or close to it.

Sorry. That stinks. My wife's EAD was mailed out today, yet we are not scheduled for an interview and our case is still in RFE response review. At least your GC will likely be approved in a few weeks.

10/2010 - met online, 12/2012 - reconnected, 7/3/ 2013 - my 1st trip to England & he proposed! 11/7/2013 - got married in NYC

11/15/13 - mailed i130 & i485 to Chicago lockbox

(Day 1) - 11/16/13 AOS received at Chicago lockbox

(Day 6) - 11/22/13 Email & text message receipt notification received at 12:04 am & check for I130 cleared

(Day 16) - 12/2/13 Biometric appointment letter received, letter was mailed to us on 11/27/13. Appointment scheduled for 12/19/13.

(Day 33) - 12/19/13 Biometrics appointment completed
(Day 38) - 12/24/13 status changed to "Testing and Interview"

(Day 62) - 1/17/14 EAD card in production

(Day 67) - 1/22/14 EAD card mailed

(DAY 73) - 1/28/14 EAD card received

Our I-485 was placed in Testing and Interview status this morning.

Just a suggestion...When you receive a message that a card/document has been mailed make sure you copy the tracking number right away. Last night, we received an update with a tracking number for my wife's EAD, which we tracked right away. This morning we received a message stating that an EAD approval letter was mailed out, which wiped out the message with the tracking number. Hope this helps.

We finally received an interview notice-- not until Feb. 25. It feels like such a long ways away... (It seems the DC office moves a bit slower than other field offices on Visa Journey-- especially since we haven't had an RFE or anything.) I'm a bit annoyed that the "DC office" is in Fairfax, and isn't connected to the metro.

But still-- we are super grateful to have a date!!
