Do I have to send in just the tax transcript or along with my W2 and tax return copy?

Tax transcript > entire tax return (1040, W2s, schedules, worksheets, etc)

The only time a W2 is needed with a tax transcript is if you filed jointly and need to show just your own income.

hello guys, where we can get I864 form?what if theres's a co sponsor ?thanks guys

You can get the I-864 forms from USCIS's website. If there's a joint sponsor, they have to fill out their own form and include all of their own documents (tax information, pay stubs, employment letter, proof of US residency/citizenship).

November is over. Please come to the December thread: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/468369-nvc-filers-december-2013/ And please read posts 1 and 2. You're missing valuable information.

Both the DS-260 has to be completed online and the IV package sent (not to mention the AOS package) before a case complete can occur. NVC needs those three things.

Thanks Saylin!

I just received an email from NVCelectronic email stating:

Unfortunately, the principal applicant's assigned U.S. Embassy/Consulate General does not participate in the National Visa Center's Immigrant Visa Electronic Processing Program. Therefore, all forms and documents should continue to be mailed to the following address:

National Visa Center

Attn: IMM

31 Rochester Ave. Suite 100

Portsmouth, NH 03801-2914

should I send it to this address or just ignore this?

Thanks for your answers everyone :))

You can't email either of the packages. Like the email said, you're not eligible for EP. Only a few select countries are, the Philippines NOT being one of them. You can only snail mail the AOS and IV packages.

You should go back to posts 1 and 2 and re-read everything.

Hi All,

I have a question. I'm the principal applicant ie beneficiary and in the process of the filling the DS 261 form. The form says that i may choose an agent to receive all the correspondence of the visa application on my behalf. I was going to appoint myself (so i can deal with all the necessary paperwork myself) however the form also says they strongly advise us to provide a US address. I obviously dont live in US. so now I am not sure if it is better to put down my husband as the agent (who lives in States) or myself.

What is your suggestion? What kind of documents will they send to me? It'll be useless if i need to hold on to the documents for further processing but NVC sent the documents to my husband and he will have to resend them to me.

Thanks you!!

If you give over both email addresses to an operator, then all correspondence from NVC will be sent by email, to both of you. So, really the DS-261 has become a moot form in a way. So, put the petitioner's information down as agent. And if you haven't given an operator both your email addresses, do that pronto tomorrow morning when they open.

I got case number, sent in DS-261 online, then AOS and IV were available to pay online. I selected AOS fee, paid it, and now I can't seem to select IV to pay for. Do I have to wait for one payment to clear the bank (or show as paid) before I can send the other one? I thought that I could pay them both at the same time. Thanks.

The IV won't actually be available to pay until they've reviewed the DS-261. The IV side of the NVC normally takes longer. Just keep trying until you can pay it. They're a separate from each other, so there is no need to pay one to access the other, however both sections are needed to have a case complete from the NVC and interview booked.

Also please EVERYONE come to the December thread. EVERYONE moves to the new thread, this is not like the I-130 threads.
