Well, you should. You need to click on one of the bills first. Then there will be 4 buttons below the details. One of them is to print the document cover sheet. You can see my screenshot here: http://s128.photobucket.com/user/smurf47/media/Immigration/Payment%20portal%20screenshots/AOSreceiptscreenshot.jpg.html?sort=6&o=2

wait lets try a different browser. lol

no luck. tried 3 different browsers. it doesnt allow me to select the bills at all. therefore, i cant view receipts.

strange.

You should only be using IE. It's the only browser that the site's designed for (as with most government sites).

Call NVC tomorrow and inquire. I'm guessing that since you didn't do payments online, then they have to mail the bar-coded cover sheets to you, which can take weeks to receive.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!!!

I'm from Indonesia (the beneficiary), and my husband is a USC.

USCIS

06/04/2011: Got married in Surabaya, Indonesia

03/10/2013: (Some time at these dates) Filed I-130 through a lawyer

03/25/2013: Priority date, NOA1

11/08/2013: Case was transferred to Texas Service Center

11/16/2013: Case update: "was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office."

11/25/2013: NOA2. Post Decision Activity: APPROVED (by Texas Service Center)

12/05/2013: Received NOA2 in the mail.

12/19/2013: "Shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing."

NVC

01/03/2014: NVC received our case work.

03/26/2014: Called NVC and they said that there's an error on the affidavit support and they didn't get copy of my passport. This case, I blame our lawyer.

Hi guys, do I need to pay the $88 before I sign in the ds 261?do I need to print the page or I just send it thru the website after I filled up the form?thank you.

The $88 is the AOS fee, part of the AOS track. The DS-261 is part of the IV track. The AOS and IV are separate tracks that have nothing to do with one another. You can do whichever you want first.

For the DS-261, it's an online form. So you just fill out the information and press the submit button.

If it's available paid it and send DS261 right away so you can get the IV fee as well as the DS260

The $88 AOS fee and the DS-261 are separate from each other.. One is the IV path and one is the AOS path. You do not need one to do the other but eventually you need both to get a case complete and get an interview.

So no, you do not need to pay the $88 first. The DS-261 is required for the IV path to start. Do it asap. Just send it, no need to print. The AOS invoice, once paid, will generate a bar coded cover sheet that needs to be printed out and sent with the AOS package to the NVC.

Hi guys, I'm not at NVC stage yet but do have a question:

For the DS-261 (see http://s128.photobucket.com/user/smurf47/media/Immigration/DS-261%20screenshots/6b.jpg.html?sort=6&o=4),

can someone confirm the top 3 lines are meant for the beneficiary's information?

Thanks

Yes. The DS-261 is filled out by the beneficiary, so it's their information.

You can't change your address now if you haven't moved. You can only change it once you've moved. You'd just need to call NVC and tell them you have a new address. You might have to ask for a new case number if they don't do it automatically. This may take a few weeks.
