But isn't it needs to be submitted while interview? I have seen quite many a cases that people apply for PCC only when case gets completed at NVC. I am not pretty much sure what all are the docs that need to be submitted in packet IV.

Also, do you have any idea about my ques above?[/quote

No it has to submitted as part of the IV packet before interview.

Hi Guys! I'm wondering if someone can let me know what to expect next.

I swear I've read through every guide but am still a bit fuzzy on this. blush.png

We'll be going through Montreal so are electronically filing.

We've successfully paid our AOS (i.e. in PAID status) and have submitted our DS-261.

Should we expect an email from NVC requesting the I-864 OR should I just email the AOS package (I-864 and supporting documents) now instead of waiting?

If your AOS fee appears as "PAID", then go ahead and send in the documents.

I followed this Wiki guide specifically written for Montreal beneficiaries. It's straight forward. http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_for_Montreal_Beneficiaries_%E2%80%93_Electronic_Processing_and_New_Online_Forms

Good luck.

Hi all, i've just had the NOA2 on the 22nd, so joining ranks and doing my homework now. :)

Short question: should we be doing I-864 or I-864EZ: my husband has some income in w-2 and some in 1099x and there are no dependents (only petitioning for me). Can he do the EZ or since not all income is covered with W-2 he should do the regular one? Thanks!

I'm the beneficiary.

Don't have a timeline? Don't know how to get started with it? Do it for the statistics sake: VJ video guide

Filing for a USC spouse visa (IR-1/CR-1) and not sure what comes next? Check out the VJ IR-1/CR-1 guide

Want to know what's happening with your case? Here's the USCIS tracking page (get an account and see if the case's been 'touched'!). Don't get your hopes up though, some cases never even appear there despite being successfully processed.

Okay then.

For P1Q9, put unemployed (unless he's ever been employed in his life). As for the date, not too sure, maybe his birth date or the date of whatever the age would be in his state where he can legally start to work. Perhaps you should call up NVC to ask.

For P1Q11, has he not filed taxes? I don't know anything about social security and if that's exempt from filing taxes. If he's never filed taxes, definitely don't put N/A. Fill out the years and put '$0.00' in the total income lines. Do NOT leave those lines blank or a checklist will very likely be issued, I've seen it time and time again.

For P2Q13 and 15, put the number of immigrants. I don't know your case, so I don't know what number that is.

I'd also highly suggest you include a letter with his package describing his disability and work/tax situation (or lack thereof). I'd put it both in the cover letter as well as it's own sheet behind the I-864A. I don't know if you need to include proof of social security, but if it's not required, I'd suggest you do it anyways.

If there's only one intending immigrant, then yes, the answer is 1.

Getting a medical set up was a pain in the ### as there is one dr in sthlm, who's taking 3 weeks off over Christmas and new year,,

I dont know if its just that the embassy is busy or doesn't schedule alot of interviews. I know a few have waited 2 to 4 months after case complete (hoping that was a 2012 glich).

Hoping the best and that caes complete now means you are in the queue Dance of Life for a January.
