We were from MSC and had our I-130 approved in early November.

NVC has assigned info to us and we've begun the payment process.

USCIS says it can take up to 30 days for the file to reach NVC and another 8 weeks (I think) to be scanned in at NVC.

I'd keep calling them. There doesn't seem to be rhyme or reason as to the timelines with this stuff ...

How long did it take for your bill to show? My status show not invoiced.

Sorry to say that if you didn't put N/A in that block you may get a checklist.

Does that mean we can have issues while submitting AOS?

and also, suppose spouse stays with me for some time and then go back and find a job, how old the job should be before submitting AOS?

I-864 is evaluated on interview day by the Vice-Consul handling the interview,

and the I-864 contains prior year tax data and current annual income.

It's a combo of these two things, that the Vice-Consul will evaluate.

If you think she's going to be scant in one or the other thing, ask her to consider to obtain a co-sponser or joint-sponser prior to her leaving the USA.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

put n/a in the alien number box?

Yes Alien Number box, they don't like blank block. And I did say may get a checklist. I myself put the number that was on NOA2 above hubby name in that block. Not my alien no. And my AOS got approved.

If you don't have any dependent use the I864EZ and you won't have too! Also where it ask about your address if it's different, please put N/A there as well. I hope this help you.

i paid yesterday and it is still saying in progress so i have to wait until it states paid in there so i can get this address ? i saw alot of people mailed their packages before it stated paid in there because this would take more business days to be shown....am i wrong ?

You are wrong.

You have to wait until the payment is shown as 'PAID' and only then you can print out the Document Cover Sheet. It has more than just an address on it. It contains a barcode and your case info. You must include the cover sheets with the AOS and DS-260 packages.
