Do you have any clue for which fields you have to enter "N/A" in AOS Package?

As i guess there is one field Alien Number but i don't know any other requires "N/A"?

I put N/A on my AOS application and I never got a checklist for it and it was approved.

My file was received before yours. I guess they don't like me.protest6wz.gif Any keywords to get the case#

Ds-260 is online, right so I assume one of you can fill it and submit online. I didn't understand the question about scanning

Scanning the supporting documents like birth certificate, marriage cert, police report, etc.

No you send the originals ( I am assuming Honduras is not Electronic Processing)

Oh ok. So I guess file the DS-260 online then submit the supporting documents via snail mail am I understanding this correctly?

Why did you get checklist for AOS? Which documents where you missing?

Saylin,

Perhaps since this N/A in all fields seems to be pretty common among everyone, it may be helpful to put that in the FAQs for the Dec NVC thread for ALL forms (since my checklist was not for the I-864EZ, but rather the I-864A). It may help prevent unnecessary checklists in the future.

I need to resend my I-864 due to something not being in black ink. Either I must have signed in blue ink or my printer was running out of black ink. Not sure which one.

I need to also resend the I-864A due to ONE field being blank (not having an N/A written in it)

I believe my checklist is dumb and adds another month to the process for nothing majorly wrong with my documents. :/

For me, I got a checklist for leaving a field blank on the I-864EZ. In part 3, line 8 it asks for your mailing address. Then line 9 asks for your place of residence if different than your mailing address. Since it was the same I left it blank. So I had to redo the form and resubmit it. This time I just put the same address in that field so that it wasn't blank. So frustrated that it will set us back another month!

I know i heard this is very common now days cases for sending checklist of "N/A" and that unnecessarily extend the case and that is really painful.

Thanks for sharing. Good Luck!!

For my I-864EZ, I wrote my mailing address again in line 9 just to be safe.

It's awful that you got a checklist for that. dry.png The instructions should be better than they are.

you could read the October or September NVC Monthly thread, get some historical references on what's what.

IMO, that's best, for you, to read what transpired before you got in to NVC, from folk that were there, then.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
