What I did was fillout when you can on the computer and after you print form, just use a black pen and filling the questions that you could not type in. That's what I did and you won't get the form return back to you. Use your best hand writing.

Makes sense, I was thiking about doing that once I filled out the entire form. Thanks :)

USCIS approved, NVC received my file on November 4th. How long before they put it in their system?

I call everyday from the time they received it. NVC ppl can be VERY rude though. I only had 2 ppl a man and a young lady, that had great customer service skills. Everyone else act as if we owe them something. SMH. I just wanna pay me bills and move on in this process.

Hi,

Yes I have to wait 1-2 days until I got an invoice.

I have been calling them since 11/1 almost every day, but was filing that I`ll get it after around 10-15 business day.

If you check some other people's timelines, you can see that it takes around 10-15-20 business days.

I-130 submitted - 03/12/2013

NOA2 hard copy in mail - 11/1/2013

NVC received the case - 1/11/2013

NVC case number - 11/20/2013

I check these urls:

https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?

From here I can check my case status.

https://ceac.state.gov/CTRAC/Invoice/Invoice.aspx?node=Invoice

From here I can log in and I can see that, I still don't have an invoce

https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx

From here I can't log in - this is fod ds-261, chose of agent

I`ll wait to see what will happen

Thanks.. I was wondering how long it takes to enter the system.

Call NVC when they ask for case number, you say USCIS receipt number and then they can tell if they received the file

last time I checked, if different means IF DIFFERENT. Goodness.

So one should write N/A if the address is same?

I copied the same address, so hopefully they won't issue another checklist saying, I did not put N/A.

I received the checklist email on the 24th of October and I responded to it the same day. But NVC didn't put it into their system until on the 1st of November. So from that day, my document has been under review.

Yes it is :-/

You will get it too in few days now.. This is the time.. Hang in there :)

Did you get your case# just today? Mine was received on 12th Nov.

I think he put the wrong date for received because on his timeline it says 11/1/13. I think the date in his signature is suppose to say the same. They say it can take up to 20 days. They received my file on Nov 4th andI'm still waiting for my case number.

I don't think so they take individual 30 days for both packages .. Than it's not 30 days it will became 60 days... What I am understanding they take 30 business days which mean 1.5 month for both package review..

Yes it's 30 days PER ITEM sent to the NVC. So they can take up to 30 business days to do the invoice, 30 business days to review the AOS package, 30 more business days to review the IV package, 30 business days to review any checklists. Literally EVERYTHING has a 30 business day timeline on it so rejoice if it's faster than that. Normally, it's faster of course, but sometimes it's not.

Just called NVC and I found out that my case was C O M P L E T E D on Monday.

3 CHEERS

Directing this question to those who filled out form I-864EZ:

I think the PDF file is really messed up as I am answering Part 3 Question 14 and checking the box "I am a U.S. Citizen". I, then move on to answer rest of the questions until I get to Part 5 Question 19 and check the checkbox and the form outputs an error saying "Invalid value USC..." and automatically unchecks Part 3 Question 14 checkbox that I had checked.

This is seriously f****d up, I can't even get either of them to check now, I can only check one of the other but not both. Has anyone noticed this behavior or can please confirm? If this is an issue in the form, I will have to contact NVC urgently as this should be fixed!

that's odd... I just did it and it worked just fine.

quick question guys,

does NVC notify you of DS-260 approval? If so, how do they do it? Email...update on website ?

They may email you and let you know they reviewed it, or you might get a false checklist for a I-864, or you may have to wait for the case complete from them. It really is variable.

I called NVC today and they informed me that my case is complete.. Yayyyyyyyyy

YAY!!! Cheers!!
