it's getting annoying to call NVC and keep being told the same 30-days thing so I have contacted my Senator. Not sure it will do anything, but, I've done it anyway. The rep last night didn't even know that our DS-260 was done and confirmed on Nov. 2. That's pretty unacceptable. It was an online form..but I guess they want their 30 days for that, too.

Has anyone gotten their documents accepted/complete quicker than 30 days? What's the average we're really looking at? I think this system is in need of some fixing. It's now looking like it will be 3.5-4 months from our NOA2 to the interview....that is just ridiculous. It's 1/3 of a year.

My docs were reviewd in about 20 days...I sent both packages at the same time. They reviewed my IV docs on Friday and my AOS on Monday. I received a checklist (for dumb reasons-so angry) for my AOS by phone on Monday but received the official email yesterday (Tuesday). So I guess it is possible to get reviewed before the 30 days. I'm disappointed too with this process. They received our docs late sept too. Tacking on an extra month for them to review our new documents with our checklist, I have a feeling our interview won't be until mid January-early February. The light at the end of the tunnel keeps getting longer and longer :(

Well either way, it still faster then the USCIS which took almost 6 months just to get NOA2 approved.

I just called NVC, regarding the checklist that everyone seem to be getting and was wondering if I should just make the correction and re-sent mine again. I told her that I followed the instruction, #3 on How to Fill out Form I-864. I read this to her....#3 "Answer all questions fully and accurately. If an item is not applicable or the answer is "none"leave the space blank". She apologized and said the direction giving to them and the instruction is not the same. According to her instruction, we have to put N/A. She suggested that I send an email to NVCInquiry@state.gov subject : PI Supervisor, and ask the same question in writing so that hopefully they can update/ correct the instruction giving to the reviewers at NVC. She was very nice and just as frustrated with this as we are, so lets all email the supervisor and help them to help us. Please ensure you follow the instruction in how to email NVC. Thanks

Did people get a N/A checklist for i-864 or i-864A and i-864ez. I don't remember anyone getting checking for not putting N/A in i-864

I put N/A on everything that did not apply to me because I read a while ago to do it regardless of what they said. So I never receive a checklist for that.

At least great to hear that you got case number. As in my case my case arrived after 35 days from USCIS and now NVC received the case 8 days ago but still saying that case number is not assigned.

How long it took for you? And how did you know that case number is assigned ? Did you get email or have to call repeatedly?

I wish they could ease the process of the error you are getting and good luck and wish that your error could resolve fast. And as per what i know once you get case number it usually take couple hours to update the site for filling DS261 form. Correct me if wrong.

It all depends Pakistan is a very busy embassy you are in the queue for January depends how many are in front of you. Most wait 2 months for your embassy after case complete. Next week they should start assigning. Hope foe the best.

Hi,

Yes I have to wait 1-2 days until I got an invoice.

I have been calling them since 11/1 almost every day, but was filing that I`ll get it after around 10-15 business day.

If you check some other people's timelines, you can see that it takes around 10-15-20 business days.

I-130 submitted - 03/12/2013

NOA2 hard copy in mail - 11/1/2013

NVC received the case - 1/11/2013

NVC case number - 11/20/2013

I check these urls:

https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?

From here I can check my case status.

https://ceac.state.gov/CTRAC/Invoice/Invoice.aspx?node=Invoice

From here I can log in and I can see that, I still don't have an invoce

https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx

From here I can't log in - this is fod ds-261, chose of agent

I`ll wait to see what will happen
