I received a checklist on 10/24, replied to the checklist on the same day, and NVC sent me an email that they received it on 11/1. Now 3 weeks later and no reply. How long do I still have to wait for NVC to review my checklist? Anyone who was in the same situation knows how long it takes? I just thought NVC was quicker than this.

I gave the NCV a ring today and was actually given a case number! I asked the operator for my IIN and she said it wasn't generated.

I plan on calling tomorrow but what are folks' thoughts on this? Do you think the IIN is already created and operator just didn't want to disclose?

Either way I think (actually just hope) it's coming soon.

Just got off the phone with NVC and they said that approved petitions from USCIS gets to them in 8 wks.. is this true?

No it takes only one week to came into NVC systems... They always tells you maximum time..

I received a checklist on 10/24, replied to the checklist on the same day, and NVC sent me an email that they received it on 11/1. Now 3 weeks later and no reply. I'm in the Same situation :( whenever I call they say please wait until it's 30 days.. It's painful ..

On the phone they say that, but in my email with my checklist they say 20 business days. I wonder if things are going to start to speed up again

I ask the same question to NVC rep.. And she told me email formats are old.. It's no more 20 days.

it's getting annoying to call NVC and keep being told the same 30-days thing so I have contacted my Senator. Not sure it will do anything, but, I've done it anyway. The rep last night didn't even know that our DS-260 was done and confirmed on Nov. 2. That's pretty unacceptable. It was an online form..but I guess they want their 30 days for that, too.

Has anyone gotten their documents accepted/complete quicker than 30 days? What's the average we're really looking at? I think this system is in need of some fixing. It's now looking like it will be 3.5-4 months from our NOA2 to the interview....that is just ridiculous. It's 1/3 of a year.

They got my AOS on 16 Oct and it was review on 13 Nov so it look like around 20 working days. So now waiting on my IV Packet which they go in system on 1Nov which I hope will be review in another 20 working days. So looking at 29 Nov till that done.

I don't think so they take individual 30 days for both packages .. Than it's not 30 days it will became 60 days... What I am understanding they take 30 business days which mean 1.5 month for both package review..
