We all could do with a boost, right?

Hey everyone,

I often visit the USCIS site and come on here daily to search in hope for anything, no matter how small, about the progress of our applications. I'm sure i'm in the same boat as the majority of the people here. Applied for a Visa many years ago and am now 'stood' in line waiting for the holy grail... a number which will allow my life to move forwards in such an exciting way.

What I'm asking is, does anyone have any gossip, hear say or information from the inside about anything new to be coming our way? anything that could give us all a little boost?

It's been nearly 6 years since I applied and have at least 18 months to go, which is more than bearable I know, however it would be lovely to hear, for example they are having a huge 'clear out' or 're-shuffle' and this means it will increase everyones process by x years or months.

For such a hugh organisation I hoped the news and udates would be more frequent.

Not having a pop at anyone or anything, just looking for some possitive news or 'gossip' (as we say in England) not just for my specific visa but to any type of family based visa.

If you don't ask, you don't get! lol

If you are looking for gossip and/or speculations about immigration process… I suggest you go read news about CIR (Comprehensive Immigration Reform) which has already been approved by the US Senate in a bipartisan fashion and is waiting for some kind of action on the House. What’s the next move?... well the many different answers to that question will give you all the material you are looking for!

My mum (USC) has filed an I-130 for me, i'm over 21 and unmarried.

My NOA1 I believe was Aug 2008.

Wow!!!! that's fantastic, I remember hearing some news about a shuffle in the summer but didn't think anything of it. After just reading up on the Immergration Reform 2013 this excites me no end, to think there could be some (hopefully) major changes in the process which could speed this whole thing up for us is wonderful.

I read it would be within the next 3-4 weeks the decision would be made on this, does that seem right?

or even by tonight, Monday 4th November, we should have a better idea if this could be possible.
