Sorry to hear about your case. We filed January also and so far we're just done with our DS 260 and waiting..,

Have you tried calling USCIS? Something might happen to your documents along the way.

Goodluck and prayers for you.

Yes I have done everything I know to do.

I have contacted my congressman and

senator and even went to what is considered

my local USCIS office in Atlanta even though

im in Alabama. When I went to Atlanta they

told me they didn't have my file but I have 2

letters from my congressman's office that says

my papers are in the Atlanta office so I am going

back there Nov.1st to see what I can find out.

You still got nowhere with finding out where the file is? :( I forgot, did you try contacting the ombudsman?

http://www.dhs.gov/ombudsman-case-assistance if you haven't yet.

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered
September 30th 2016: Check cashed
October 3rd 2016: NOA1 received with receipt date of 09/28/16
November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

USCIS will forwarded your case to NVC and it takes to 20 days or so to get into their system then another couple of days to generate your case number by then the NVC will send a notice through mail unfortunately the whole process from NVC around 2months or so once your case completed they will move your case to the consulate/embassy for interview processing

I am a January filer still waiting for NOA2.

Our case is allegedly sitting in the Orlando field office. We were told at an infopass that they don't process I-130 cases there, and it's supposed to be transferred to Jacksonville. We were told that at the end of July. However, our case is STILL sitting in Orlando. We have made multiple calls to USCIS Tier 2, and had a number of transfer requests and updates put in, but all steps lead to nothing being done. My husband has another infopass on monday to see if he can get anything done. I am doubting it though. At this rate, I still honestly don't think anything will happen to our case for months and months. I will be surprised if we get the NOA2 by April 2014. I HATE this freaking process. ranting33va.gif

IR1/CR1 Visa - We are using a lawyer!

Embassy: Montreal, Canada

USCIS

22 Jan 2013 -- packageSent
31 Jan 2013 -- NOA1 from NBC

6 Mar 2013 -- I130 transferred to Orlando local field office (which started the whole nightmare)

Mar 2013 to October 2013 no one would tell us where our case was or what was happening. I suspected the whole time it was just sitting in a corner somewhere in the Orlando field office. I was pretty much right.

October 2013 - get congressman involved. Congressman asks USCIS repeatedly about our case but they won't even tell them anything.

31 Jan 2014- finally get NOA2!!!! (we think the nightmare is over!)

NVC

Our case was not sent from the Orlando field office as it should have been. The nightmare continues. We kept calling NVC and asking if they received our case, and they always said "NO" and that we had to wait 90 business days for it to be received. We called USCIS during this time and they kept telling us it had been sent. After the 90 days of agonizing frustration, NVC then started telling us we had to wait 120 business days. I got our congressman involved again, and they told the congressman it was sitting at the Orlando office this whole time (just as I thought it was!).

22 Apr 2014 -- NVC received
16 May 2014 -- NVC case number assigned
24 May 2014 -- AoS and IV bills paid

28 May 2014 -- Sent AoS and IV Packages

6 June 2014 -- documents scanned

18 July 2014 -- false checklist from NVC

21 July 2014 -- Case complete

28 July 2014 -- receive case complete email from NV

30 July 2014 -- interview booked! September 11 here I come!

Embassy
04 Sept 2014 -- Medical
11 Sept 2014 -- Interview - APPROVED!!!!
15 Sept 2014 -- Package arrived at Loomis location!!!

**03 Oct 2014 -- POE!! **

I NOW LIVE IN OCALA, FL!!!!
