There is no set time for when your case will remain in that status. It can be as soon as 2 weeks or as long as 2 months. I had to wait 33 days from when my status was moved to "interview and testing" until I finally got an interview notice on hand. Here starts the waiting game.

EAD was speedy. I received it in the mail 57 days after sending my packet. It took me a while to get my interview yes, exactly 108 days after filing. Some are waiting even longer than 6 months before they get an interview schedule. You can't really tell, there is no trend for when AOS is granted the timelines say 6 months to a 1 year is still within processing periods.

Some local offices are more slow than others. There is no real definitive time someone can quote you.

~ Moved from AOS Family Based main forum to AOS Family Based Progress Reports sub-forum- topic is case status ~

The waiting starts here? It started for me a year ago when we applied for a K1!! The whole process is a waiting game...
