Hey everyone, I will be visiting my fiance this month and found an ASC location near her. My question is, for the K1 visa she will be interviewing at the Juarez Consulate does she need to have her biometrics done in Juarez as well? Also do they need to be done within a time frame to each other? I'm am going to dig around the website a bit to see if I can find any information but if someone has had experience with this I would love to know.

Thanks,

Patrick

Once you have the I-129F approval, and it has gone through the NVC and your case is at CDJ, they will send a letter. That is all they send. There is no packet. All the instructions are online on the Juarez Embassy website(http://photos.state.gov/libraries/ciudadjuarez/231771/PDFs/oct2013k1k4visa.pdf) and usvisa-info.com where the fee is paid and the ACS and interview are scheduled. When you are scheduling those, you can choose any of the ASC locations > https://usvisa-info.com/en-MX/selfservice/us_asc_information However, the letter from CDJ, appointment confirmation and DS-160 confirmation will be needed at the appointment.

So, yes you can schedule your ASC in another city, but you cannot just walk-in and do them whenever you like. You still have to have all the required paperwork and an appointment to do so.
