NSA - Possibility because of still no NOA2??? O.o

Hey volks,?

I just heard that TODAY some people from the german ?? government arrived in Washnigton ?? because of the NSA affair that is since weeks or months! They want to discuss what the NSA did!

I don't know how much everyone of ya'll heard about it, but they were spying germany (reading e-mails, spying phone calls,.....) and some other european countries, too!!!

Even the german chancellor was getting controlled on her cell phone!!! :-/

My question is now:

Is it possible that the USCIS because of all this action that is going on now (especially the action between germans and americans-> because of NSA), that they stop looking at our petition ??? That they lay it by the side now!?!?

I am the beneficiary and I'm german. We are at the TSC and there are a loooooot of people from other countries, that have been approved in 20 or 30 days and we are still waiting since almost 3 months!!!

I don't know why but it feels like this political thing is hanging in with it????

No, the politics behind NSA activities have little to do with USCIS petition processing. German petitions don't go into a "special" pile. Your petition will most likely be processed in the normal time frame as everyone else.

That would not effect your petition trisha, NSA and USCIS are completly different agencies , i would say you will hear something soon :-)

It is stressful but try think of the positives of when ye are together , i know for me it can get me down been here in Ireland and not with Tisha but we help each other get through it and we constantly talk bout our future together so keep your head up and smile :-)

As the other poster said, those two agencies have nothing to do with each other. Also, you are still well within normal processing times, so don't stress out about things you have no control over. The process is long and hard, but it is worth it! Good luck!
