Hello All!!!!

I don't know if its just me or someone else is going through same BS from USCIS! We've filed an i130 petition in March and still no NOA2! Isn't that just crazy? I noticed people who filed in August though for a K1 get approval within 2 months! What da hell is wrong with those guys giving priority to people who aren't married while keep those legally married apart for long?

I hate it so much when people ask me "You got married? Why didn't she come back with you to the States?" Idiots, no one knows how completely useless, lazy, and badly-run the USCIS is! And no one understands that we have the worst immigration system in the world! If my wife was from a developed country I would never even think about bringing her to this rotting cesspool we call America!

Seriously I have no idea why someone married to a German, Canadian, or British citizen would want to bring their spouses to live here, this country sucks. If I could get work over there I would move in 1 second and never come back.

I married a Dutch person and lived over there for 8 years. There are a multitude of reasons why we came back, but the biggest was that my family is all still here in the US. Also, I really couldn't stand most Dutch people anymore, aside from my husband, and I couldn't deal with all the Xenophobic, racist, anti-immigrant bullcrap that I had to deal with every day. It was becoming a very toxic situation for me, and we decided that we wanted to stay married and that was not going to happen if we didn't look after my mental health.

When I applied in march the waiting time was 6 months, It has gone up to 11 months now, so you have long wait ahead of you. Lets hope they clean up all the back logs soon!

I'm the March 11 2013 filer and today my status shows as transfer to local uscis . What do u think am I closer to approval or I still have to wait .

My husband and I decided I'd move to America from Britain because the houses are plentiful and cheaper (MUCH cheaper, OMG!), employment opportunities are amazing where he lives, and I just prefer it to the UK.

I haven't much looked into UK immigration, but I know it takes a lot less time to bring a spouse over if you make the right amount of cash per year. I don't make enough, so it's not even an option.

I know we'll be waiting a year or more and we aren't in any particular rush. I figure now is the best time to save up my wages from my current job so we can use it for a house deposit, or in emergencies.

Sometimes though, I wish I'd just stayed in America and adjusted status. I wasn't intending to at all and didn't even want to try for fear of it going wrong, but I'm kind of kicking myself a little. I didn't realise how long the wait times for USCIS had gone up

hey the dude, you can get on a leaky boat to anywhere you want for all i care. I have fought for my country and your comments about it make it a good thing that you are not standing in front of me right now. A lousy gov't does not mean the US is a rotting cesspool or that it sucks. You know what you can do with your insults.

I feel for all the ppl going thru the torment of waiting for the gov't to do what should take way less time to do. If it's any comfort at all, a cpl years down the road this will seem like nothing. I'm sure it's been expressed before, but patience, just hang in there, it'll happen.

Well, you know all applicants are apart form their loved ones and want to be reunited, whether they are fiancés or spouses. Last year this time the fiancé visa route took up to 12 months, just as long or longer than the spousal visas. I understand it is extremely frustrating, but I don't think it I fair to blame K1's for the delay. It is USCIS's mismanagement, not other applicants' faults. Either way, good luck!
