Hi guys,

I badly need your thoughts about this:

I will be arriving in detroit around 12:00PM and thats my POE. Now my connecting flight is 2:10PM for burlington. Will i make it to my next flight thinking of passing by immigration and customs after my arrival at 12:00? Let me know thanks!!!

They recommend at least 3 hours for international connections even for USC's that don't have the hassles you will. Depending on the time of day you may not make that second flight unless you are lucky and a fast runner

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

its a domestic flight since its from detroit to burlington. And according to delta air minimum time for check in is 45 mins. Therefore i should be able to check in at 1:00 and boarding is 30 mins before departure. that will give me 45 mins to complete my immigration and customs check.. i hope i get lucky.. i tried to familiarize the airport through you tube videos so i know where to run after customs and get my bag from the carousel. Wish me luck..

Sis, give a little more time for potential delays. Transits normally shouldn't be less than 3 hours from experience and from what I heard (domestic or international). ETAs refer to time of landing and not clearing through the airport. Also, taxiing inside the runway might take time depending on how busy the airport is.

Not sure how fast you can clear with immigration's at Detroit as well, but to be safe, just give more elbow room if possible. Good luck! smile.png
