Yes, denial is still, possible if they find anything in his background that would prevent him from being admissible. No one here can give you an accurate answer as to what or when anything will happen. AP has no timeline, as they said it could be a few weeks, a few months or much longer, no one knows. Best of luck, I understand how you feel, my husband was in AP for 10 weeks, but he has been here for over a year now.

Thanks for your input. During that 10 weeks of waiting and not knowing, what did you do to keep your faith and hold it together. Did you ever have any indication of why they put you in AP?

Thanks!

This process is difficult to endure for anyone especially when AP becomes part of it. No one will be able to tell you when the AP portion will be over nor the result of that process.

AP can take weeks to months. This doesn't mean they are looking for some evil aspect of his life. Life has changed and that has caused many countries to alter the way they determine who can enter the USA.

My own case took 408 days so I know how this can affect people. You just have to find a way to deal with this. If you think prayer helps then do so.

408 days!! You must be a very strong person. Bless you! I am struggling to hold it together at this point. But what choice do I have? Thank for your support.

Like you I had to find a way to endure. You can do it too. Just focus on the future and spend your time really planning what you will do when this is over, It will come to and end and you should have what you have worked for.

Ning did you ever find out why or what reason they put u through this?

I think the hardest part is no guarantee they will approve it. So that makes waiting even worse.

No. My husband came back to the USA twice to sit down with USCIS while trying to find out anything. USCIS said " oh this just never happens" but it did. He was asked to write letters. He wrote nine. We have never gotten an answer to even one. He tried getting a U S Senator to help. They couldn't. When they did have some info they sent it to the wrong address. It was a total disaster that led to us learning a lot about how some of these things work.

Of course in the end we got what we were seeking. I am happy to say I became a U S citizen just a week ago so no matter what we had to do it is worth every effort. I am proud to be a citizen of this great country. Flaws and all.

The waiting is terrible but it will end and must be done. Please try your best to get thru this and you will succeed.
