we just got our MNL case number, last Oct.24 and when i checked it on CEAC website it says READY....on that same day.

I CALLED USEM today Oct. 30 to ask if READY means our case is in the embassy i mean physically and she didnt tell me anything..

SHE just told me to wait for the letter from the USEM, the eligibility letter.

and when i checked the CEAC today...its still ready but the case updated date is OCT.30

is ready means? its really in the embassy already?

will the usem contact me?

thanks for the help guys...

i just dont know what to do...

Ask them if they already have your papers already...and then you can now pay the visa fee to any BPI branches. If the embassy has your papers already from NVC then you can now schedule your interview but be sure that you already have your medical completed at ST. Luke's Extension Clinic before scheduling your interview. Goodluck!

right, dont wait for the letter....you can now move forward to the next step!

For sure don't wait for a letter from the embassy... rarely do they EVER arrive.

You have your MNL # so it is ROCK 'N' ROLL time!!

Get your visa fee paid, schedule your interview online, complete the medical and keeping movin' on!

Follow the flashing arrow for more details.

The letter from NVC with your case number - don't worry about that. But do print two copies for SLEC when doing the medical.

As long as YOUR (beneficiary) name is correct and you have your MNL # you are good to go. No one ever asks for that letter from NVC and the embassy has the original petition (I-129F) so they have the petitioner's correct name spelling.

Follow the flashing arrow and git 'r dun!!

I can attest to not waiting for the embassy letter. My fiance had her interview on Oct 29 and one of her sisters at home got the letter that day. ClockWatch2.gif

And Hank's guide was very helpful for me.
