Finally something! i just got an email saying " on march 20th 2014 your N-400 application for naturalization was placed in line for interview scheduling."…same on uscis website….Hopefully soon i will know the date of my interview!

I know it is frustrating. You should have been put in oath scheduling que atleast.

Generally they schedule within a month of the interview.

Did you do a name change by any chance.

It is frustrating.

But we have to wait no other go.

Wow I'm shocked at how long they took to get to your application! I wouldn't have thought Louisville Kentucky would be the busiest office around.. You'll probably get scheduled right away, so instead of sitting "inline", you were waiting without being placed "inline".

Nice to see a fellow Finn here, and our dates are almost exactly the same too. We submitted our application in early November, had our fingerprinting also early December and interview 2/24. We missed the same day oath ceremony by about 15 minutes, but the officer was kind enough after the interview to pick a date for the oath ceremony rather than wait for an invitation for it. We got our citizenship 3/4, very nice ceremony. Seattle office seems to be pretty good when it comes to oath ceremonies after the interview

Onnittelut! Congratulations! Yeah some offices are definitely slower than others but at this stage I'm not worried about it. Afterall I did wait for 15 years after being eligible for naturalization to do so, so what's the big hurry now...

And I just got my email and text saying I've been placed into the Oath Scheduling Que! Now I'm hoping they'll get me into the April 9th L.A. convention center ceremony for 5000 of us soon-to-be citizens!!!

Now that I look at my timeline all the dates that I've received any emails and texts are Fridays. So maybe my field office only uses the computer on Fridays... I'll wait until next Friday and maybe I'll get the notice that I've been scheduled for the Oath!

Hi everybody I am new here, I've been follow this November filler for awhile. Seem like a lot of them got their interview and even some of them finish there journey already. I am also a November filler too and still waiting. My priority date is Nov 20 2013. I finished my FP on Dec 10 2013 and it's been place in line for scheduling for interview on Jan 16 2014.

Today is March 21 2014 and I am still don't receive my IL yet. Does anybody out there wait this long like me? On the website say that I can contact the 1800 number if I don't here anything after 90 from the Jan 16. I know it not 90 days yet. Am I worried to early? Got any advice will be appreciated.

Hello Neighbour!

Ok, just from anecdotal experience, being in-line for interview for over sixty days (as you have) seems a little long even though it is still within the initial ninety day window. There are many possibilities here (including a slim chance that you were already mailed an Invitation Letter to the interview that somehow got lost in transit), but there are a few things you can do right now:

1) First, log onto the USCIS case status page (https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard.do) to see if there has been further activity on your petition beyond recording your Biometrics on December 10th. If there has, then you should call the 1-800 number immediately to update them about your stalled progress.

In the likely event that the staff at the 1-800 number are unable or unwilling to assist you, proceed to step 2.

2) Do you live within a reasonable commute from your local Santa Ana field office? If so, see if you can schedule an InfoPass appointment in the event that the 1-800 attendant is unable to help. Sitting face-to-face with a live officer might provide more information about what is going on, and it really could be a simple case of interview scheduling bottleneck at the Santa Ana field office. It's a simple query and no harm can come from it.

I suppose that even if the latest activity when you log onto your case status is where you know yourself to be right now (i.e. recorded your Biometrics on December 10th), you should still attempt an InfoPass appointment if possible. Your petition may have made progress, but such progress may not have been captured in the case status updates or additional correspondence from the USCIS.

Well I already check the online status and called the 1800 number already. The tier 2 office not help at all. She said it still in the processing time and give them another months and call back after April 16 which is 90 days. I don't know what is going on.

I am afraid that the same thing happen to me with GC. my GC it took me 6 years. Now the n400 any more advice. I don't want to do the infor pass as yet because I know what the answer will be.
