Don't worry about the speeding ticket. As long as the fine is less than $500 you should be OK.

Congratulations, I have not gotten anything yet.

Hopefully my speeding ticket won't be an issue, the IO told me it shouldn't be but I am a little bit paranoid.

Hi,

I did send it to the local USCIS office, yes.

Of course, I have nothing to show for it but a verbal reassurance everything is fine - perhaps that's better than nothing. No status change, no oath yet.....

Good luck. We aren't even doing a name change, so I really don't understand what the holdup is. Honestly I remain very frustrated and irritated about this 24/7. On day 45, we're going to do an infopass.

@Jon&Sol

It's crazy that it's taking so long to get your oath ceremony date. Over a month since your interview and still no date, madness!

I have my interview in Pittsburgh next week and it's disheartening to think I might have to wait over a month to get scheduled for an oath. Anyway, best of luck, hope you get that notice soon!

8.1)...When can I apply for United States citizenship?

A...As a spouse of a US Citizen, you can apply for citizenship 3 (three) years after approval of your Adjustment of Status. Your approval may be noted via any of the following: approval notice (I-797), on your passport (I-551 stamp and date), your green card ("resident since" date). The 3 year countdown begins with that date. This 3 year period does not include long absences from the United States.

But really I am not sure when I should to do.

Thank you so much for your help.

Look at your green card, it says somewhere, "Resident since". Next to that is a date. Add 3 years to that date, then subtract 90 days, and that's when your eligibility window opens, provided you meet all the other requirements.

I suggest you go to http://www.uscis.gov/n-400 and familiarize yourself with the requirements, the eligibility worksheet, and you should also go to http://www.uscis.gov/us-citizenship/citizenship-through-naturalization/guide-naturalization and read everything in detail.
