I received an email on 12/12/13 saying my Biometric Letter had been sent, I went to ASC Office on 12/12/12 I spoke with the manager about my flight and she print out the letter and let me do the biometrics the same day, it took me like 10-15 minutes the whole thing. Now I can go on vacations without any problem. By the way I have not received the biometric letter in mail yet.

By the way I have not received the biometric letter in mail yet.

You didn't really expect it the next day, did you? :) If all goes well you'll have it next week, perhaps this Saturday at the earliest, although that doesn't matter now since you did an early walk-in.

Timeline:

2005-04-14: met online

2005-09-03: met in person

2007-02-26: filed for K-1

2007-03-19: K-1 approved

2007-06-11: K-1 in hand

2007-07-03: arrived in USA

2007-07-21: got married, yay!

2007-07-28: applied for green card

2008-02-19: conditional green card in hand

2010-01-05: applied for removal of conditions

2010-06-14: 10-year green card in hand

2013-11-19: applied for US citizenship

2014-02-10: became a US citizen

2014-02-22: applied for US passport

when u sent your N 400 package, did you put the origin of the marraige certificate or a copy of it? do u put any origin of any document in general or all copies except the application, about the photo, i am afraid the person in wall green do something wrong, do you tell him its for cetizenship and they iwll know, or there is something else u can tell them?

Just copies. Do not send your originals.

For the photos, just tell them you want 'passport' pictures.

Read the instructions carefully.

Never send originals unless the instructions explicitly state that you must send an original.

Timeline:

2005-04-14: met online

2005-09-03: met in person

You received NOA yesterday, and you are 'concerned' because you haven't gotten the biometrics appointment yet? Guess what? You're never going to get the biometrics appointment within 24 hours of getting the NOA. Look at our timelines in this thread. That will give you some idea how long you can expect to wait. Off the top of my head, it's typically what, a week or two until you get the biometrics notice?

Recieved Biometric Mail on 12/13, FB is due on 12/13. I'm being curious what If I early walk in...? does it really expedite your Interview date and whatnot? What I read online that in Chicago the Boradway location doesn't welcome "walks in" probably Pulaski one do .... any recommendation for me please.

How about adding your name and dates to the list upthread so that we can advise you better? It also helps other members to compare their timelines. The question as to whether an early walk-in is likely to speed things up is dependent, for example, on your eligible date.

Any feedback on early walks in ?

If you read a couple pages back, you'll see that I was able to do an early walk-in. My appointment was at the office on Pulaski. However, there are no guarantees that they will accept you.
