Interview at Manila USEM

Hello Vjers!

I had my interview yesterday at Manila USEM and everything went very well. Both the Filipino and American consul were very nice and i was able to answer all their questions. But i wasnt able to hear the sweet words which is Welcome to USA or your visa is approved. The last words i heard from the American lady consul was she told that she got everything complete with a very sweet smile. And after i got called on window 71 where i got my appointment letter back and was informed that my passport will be delivered at my address. I asked the man in charge if i am approved and he just give an upward direction of his eyebrow. After seeing it I was really speechles and also im in doubt. Am I really approved??

same here.. the guy on last window returned my appointment letter and told me to wait for my passport with a visa to be delivered at home.. had my interview last weds, oct 23, 2013. from ready to ap to issued.. so.. you have nothing to worry about :-)

Wow congrats! Im checking now my status at CEAC and it says ready. Praying to see it on ISSUED status ???

wow congrats its look like u were approved. u only have to do is to wait fr ur passpport and visa to b delieverd ..... could u write here how was ur interview at the USEM ? 'pleasseee really wana knw how does it go, and wht do they ask

Hi rbrck! My appointment was at 7:30am and i went there at 5am not knowing that there were a lot already falling in line. Make sure that you fall in line with the right kind of visa youre applying coz there are lot of lines. And also dont listen to those people around which are 'fixers'. Just follow the instructions found in Manila Embassy website. Then at around 6:30 we started to enter the embassy and they started to ask for your appointment letter, DS 160 & passport. Then inside you are give your number and you will deposit your appointment letter and DS 160 at window 39. Then i waited for my number to be flash and proceeded to window 42 for my fingerprint scanning. And about 2hrs of waiting again i was called at window 42 and i was interviewed by a Filipino Consul and submitted my Birt Cert, Cenomar, NBI,I-134 and w2. And after like 30mins of waiting i was interviewed again by American lady Consul and after which called by the releasing officer at window 71.

Questions are:

1. Who petitioned you?

2. What does he do?

3. How did you meet?

4. When did you meet?

5. How many visits?

6. Does he have previous children?

7. Is he married?

Basically questions are about your fiance and your relationship. Good luck & God bless!
