I just wanted to know, the last time I tried to cross the border in Toronto to Fort Lauderdale they said I didn't have enough money in my bank account to travel to see my fiance. So when I get approved (hopefully that I do), would that be a problem since my fiance will be fully responsible for the financial part.

Entry as a visitor is not the same as entry with a K-1 visa. There are no requirements for you to show ties to your home country when entering with a K-1 because a K-1 entrant has immigration intent.
