I just got my packet from the Embassy here in Barbados but I am a little confused about what I need to send back to them in order for them to schedule an appointment for me. Is it the DS 230, DS 156 and DS156k only? If anyone has been through this process in Barbados can you please give some advice on the issue? Thanks

check all the letters that they send you and read it carefully because the instructions are all there.. I think the forms that you need to return to them is the 156 and 156k u fill it up through online or y print.. and u keep the DS230 and show that to them on your interview date.. just read it again and again because sometimes you get confuse. I've been done that.. good luck to you..

I might be wrong of my first reply, maybe u keep the 156 and 156k and return the 230 for your visa application.. just read..

This is the site for your Embassy > http://barbados.usembassy.gov/iv-k_1_visas.html

You should contact them and ask though because it is possible the DS-160 is now used in place of all the other DS forms and they just have not updated their website or instructions. The instructions posted above are not even correct anymore for Manila. The DS-160 is now used since early Oct. Though it is possible Barbados has still not switched over to the DS-160 as of yet.

I spoke to someone who just went through the process in Oct and they filled out and sent the DS160 and mailed in the DS156, DS156K and the DS230 and they were approved.

Thanks for everyone's input so far
