Just an overview, my wife arrived here on June 29th, we got married on August 4th, we mailed in the I-485, I-765, and I-131. We received notices with "Notice Date" of September 16, 2013.

We got the letter to attend the biometrics appointment and went to that on October 10th, that went smooth and easy with very little wait time.

Now we are waiting to hear about our interview or at least if they will approve the I-131 request to leave the country.

We hope to be able to go back to Ecuador for Christmas but I understand that it is unlikely to get an interview by then but still remaining hopeful.

I am curious to know what others recent experiences have been.

thanks!

You may not be interviewed at all - in fact the majority of people adjusting from a K-1 are not interviewed. Then down side is that interview waivers can take up to a year to receive their green card. However your I-131 approval should take about 60-90 days.
