Just thought I would share my progress since I originally filed to remove my conditions in July 2012. When I filed to remove my conditions I did so with a wavier as my ex-wife and I had divorced. I had sent off my application to the VSC and waited and waited until finally I was able to put in a service request as I had not heard anything back since attending my bio-metrics a few weeks after my application was received.

I received a response from my service request in the form of a letter requesting for more evidence. I sent the additional evidence back to the VSC where I was to await up to 60 days before I could send in another service request if I had not heard anything back in the meantime. After 60 days, sure enough I called and made another service request while at the same time being told my case had moved to the CSC. I was told I would need to wait in between 15 and 30 days to receive a reply for my service request. 3 weeks into my wait I received a letter saying that my case has now been moved to my local office where I believe I will be scheduled for an interview and to wait for further communications.

Unfortunately I have no idea now as to how long I am suppose to wait after they have received my RFE and scheduling my interview? I'm pretty sure it has been more than 90 days since they have received my RFE. Does anybody else have any experience with regards to interview waiting times after the RFE?

ROC Journey:

4/24/13 - Submitted I-751 application

4/26/13 - I-751 officially filed

6/11/13 - Biometrics done

8/14/13 - Rec'd RFE

9/21/13 - Submitted RFE response

9/23/13 - RFE response rec'd at VSC

(about 2 months later)

11/21/13 - Service request via Tier 1 submitted

12/11/13 - Response to service request rec'd - vague info about processing times

12/12/13 - Service request via Tier 2 submitted

12/10/13 - APPROVED!!! (letter rec'd 12/14/13)

12/16/13 - 2nd Service request response rec'd

12/17/13 - Card production email/text rec'd (online case updated)!

12/24/13 - Notification rec'd via email regarding card mailed on 12/23/13 (online case updated as well)

12/26/13 - 10-yr card rec'd!

One thing I have learned on this journey:

There is no such thing as an "overkill" evidence package. Submit anything and everything you can. Who knows what will prevent you from getting an RFE.
