Hey guys so I know a lot of you will tell me that there is no timeframe for ap. My husband will be at his 6 month mark next week with ap. We haven't had a single status change or update. Should I even try to contact them after 6 months? On the Islamabad embassy website it says to not contact them about ap until after 6 months which I have been patiently waiting to do. Should I contact them after 6 months? Our case has been in process for a year and 4 months.

Any help would be appreciated

FYI - we've been in AP forever too; so I'll be filling out Form G-639. I'd like to know exactly what the government is doing (or not doing) on my case. Curious if I'm merely in line; or if they're active working/waiting for details.

Does this apply to us?

So I had the US senators office contact the embassy after 6 months and they sent them the same generic email that its AP and there is no time frame. Of course they updated the date too. then I tried contacting them they did not respond back to me or update the case. I don't know what to do. I have no hope anymore :(
