Hi All,

We have some questions regarding "Intent to marry" letters. It was so strange and we've never seen or heard it before in VJ. My fieancee approved visa on OCT 18th in Singapore. The interview process was very smooth but the consulate didn't take our intent to marry letter. My fieancee didn't notice on the spot and noticed couple days later. So here are our questions.

- Has anyone seen/heard/experienced this kind of situation?

- Was it possible that the US consulate SG forgot to keep them?

- If anyone had experienced this situation, what would be next steps?

- Should we contact to US embassy in SG and ask them?

All answers and discussion are greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!!

"Intent to marry" letters are required during the I-129F petitions.

The CO did not ask about these letters during my K1 visa interviews.

Since your K1 visa is already approved, no need to contact US consulate. You are good to go.

Done with K1, AOS and ROC
