The story isn't racist. Danno was trying to be funny by using slang in the title.

Ah IC and it got edited

So he was making fun of us rural Southerners

If rural Southerners say stuff like Yo and diss, then yes.

Ah, Niblet. It's too bad he can't have a decent discussion with myself or Janelle(she was at least getting to him somewhat), he could learn something.

Diss like in talking bad about someone, not dis or dat. That's more common slang.

Just read the whole thing. This dude is something else. How do you talk about foreigners that way and you married a Pinay? Pot meet kettle. Plus, he really thinks you're black? rofl.gif

Truth. But Danno could have gotten my attention without resorting to using jive talk.

1. There was no baiting, I hardly call 'inviting a perspective" on a topic near and dear to the persons interest.... Baiting.

2, If you haven't noticed, I slide in and out of different linguistic expressions all the time, sometimes Southern slang, sometimes Yankee sometimes, Afro-speak.

In any case it is not to insult. (and it was prompted by JZ, not you) I might remind you Obama and even hillary feel quite at ease going with a black flair... depending on the crowd.

3.The most interesting part of your reply was how quickly you accepted JZ's approach to this situation and scorned mine.... even though they are the mirror image.

Here lets see what he said...

<<<<I move and speak based on facts and not emotion. I haven’t made any comments because I am waiting on facts and the outcome of a meeting between community leaders and Barneys. >>>>

Of course the only diffence between JZ and myself is- His stance continues to draw customers in the store and the store is enriched in the interim.

1. You could have invited my perspectve without the use of slang. I've made it clear here several times how I feel about that and the use of the n-word, yet for some reason folks still feel compelled to address me as such.

2. Last time I checked, I'm not Obama or Hillary, and if they addressed me in the same manner, I'd check them too.

3. You move and speak on facts that you agree with. Because if it's black on white, you're 100% behind it without a shred of proof. If it's the other way around, you ask for mountains and mountains of proof. Even then, you still maintain a certain facade of doubt.

Let the record reflect that I only used "Yo" not Diss, that was you trying to embellish..... no problem I am used to that.

The subject was JZ..... does JZ use the term YO?

Hummmm?

I hate to keep correcting you (well not really) but this is how I addressed you.

You have a big presence here my friend but not so big that every subject title that has to do with a Black person is about you.

First, it's Jay-Z. At least learn about the subject matter before you jump in trying to speak on it.

Second, do you listen to him? I don't. So find out first, then come back and let us know.
