Packet 3 checklist

The packet 3 checklist i've received from London seems to not be asking for a lot of info. Having read on here about having additional evidence to add to the initial petition and other documents which the checklist doesn't really mention. Is the checklist the absolute minimum or am i reading to much into this?

Er... well, what are you planning to send and then take along with you? The forms and documents needed are also here:

London doesn't need relationship evidence etc. They get all that from your I-129f petition. Is that what you mean?

You'll also need to book and attend a medical.

Follow the London list for what to bring to the interview. I haven't seen the mailed list because it just started this week. Things not listed on the website list and may not be on your list are:

-Appointment letter

-Confirmation of submitting online DS-160, which is also new and wouldn't apply to you because youlikely submitted paper forms before the recent switch. You are fine without doing the DS-160 if you mailed DS-230, DS-156, DS-156K, DS-157.

-Receipt/confirmation that you have paid the visa fee.

**Also if your Interview is going to be past the expiration of the NOA2, London requests a new letter of intent from the USC that is notarized. (Expiration is 4 months after NOA2 date)

Do NOT bring...

-A copy of the petition

-copy of the NOA2

-Photo albums

-Photos together

-Facebook posts about how madly in love you are

-Skype logs

-Proof of engagement

-letter of intent (exception see ** above)

-Proof of more visits

-USC's birth certificate, passport, divorce decree....

Ok so at the embassy all they'll want to see are the items strictly in the list. No relationship evidence- none of the info in the original application?? Also the courier service that it asks you to register for?? Is that for the return of your passport for after the final interview?? sorry the more i read into this the more confused i become!

What are you calling Packet 3? Do you have an appointment letter already? Where are you in the process? Make a timeline on VJ. It's helpful to those that give answers.
