Ok guys I am about to send in IV packat..quick run down:

Original Documents:

Marriage certificate (From Union Counsel, Nikah Nama (both English and Urdu).

Birth Certificate Beneficiary only

Police Certificate (I know its not required but since I had the documents coming anyway, thought/suggested by VJ'er member that it wouldn't hurt)

Copy of Passport Bio page- Beneficiary only

2 Passport size pictures of beneficiary (with name and DOB of beneficiary written on back)

Am I missing anything else?

Also for CR1 Visa, is there any type of fee my wife needs to pay at the Embassy?

We have a daughter (she is USC through CRBA process), can she bring her to the Embassy? Or leave her with her grandparents.

I think you are good with documents.

For fee, someone who already went through interview can confirm, but I haven't seen anyone discussing fee.

I would say take your daughter. They shouldn't ask you for any proof of ongoing relationship :)

I would advise you to submit the NADRA Marriage Certificate along with Original Nikah Nama in Urdu and it's original translation. Make sure you have the Foreign office stamps on it.

NADRA marriage certificate is an optional document, it provides further proof of marriage. I recently got a false checklist just because of missing the NADRA marriage certificate. You might not. Depends on the person whose reviewing your package. If i knew if they gonna issue the checklist, I would have submitted the NADRA marriage certificate in the start.

Thanks a lot again guys!

Will tell the wife to take daughter with her, only issue is food and drink, I'm assuming she's not allowed to take any in with her. You guys suggest during the actual interview she should take her with her to the window or wherever the interview is conducted? Also is my wife's dad allowed inside the embassy with her?

At Faraz.azeem I am going to be sending both but the Nikah Nima (both Urdu and English) are the ones attested from foreign affair office stamp on them.

I think she should take her to the window where the interview will be conducted. No, only applicants are allowed to enter the embassy.

I just hope that she doesn't start crying and aggravates the CO during the interview, last thing we would want is an aggravated CO.

No if someone is US citizen they can go to the window too with applicant..

I am assuming you mean our daughter?

You mentioned already that your daughter is US citizen.. She can go with ur wife offcourse to the window.. Doesn't matter if she is mentioned in any of your paperwork.. Either way she can go.. Make sure she is fully feeded before entering into shuttle.. And rest leave it to ALLAH cause u can never plan what baby's mood is going to be in next few hours.. :-)
