No, I didn't. They said I'll get my passport in 7 days. I'm really hoping to receive it soon Insha'Allah.

Putting people on AP after approval?

Does anyone have an idea as to how long it actually takes to receive your passport after getting approved?

If your original Nikah Nama is in Urdu, you need to send it along with English translated one.

They didn't give you the option of picking up the passport from the embassy? Had friend go through last week, they gave him the option of picking the passport up after 2 days from the embassy.

They didn't give you the option of picking up the passport from the embassy? Had friend go through last week, they gave him the option of picking the passport up after 2 days from the embassy.

Does he live in ISL? Maybe if you are local, they give you an option.

No, I don't think so. I came across a girl at the embassy who was from Islamabad and got approved but was told that she would get her passport back in 7-10 days.

Do they offer islamabad people to pick up passport from the embassy ?

For your interview, did they ask to see proof of ongoing relationship, pictures or any other documents?

What time did you arrive and when did you get free? Did you do your interview in Urdu or English? Was the interviewer Pakistani?

No, they didn't because we had already submitted our pictures with our I-129F petition and packet 3.5. However, they asked a few interviewees to show them their engagement/wedding pictures.

I reached the embassy around 7 and got done with the whole procedure by 10:30.

I chose English for the interview, and the interviewer was an American lady.

What time did you arrive and when did you get free? Did you do your interview in Urdu or English? Was the interviewer Pakistani?

guys my fiance is still waiting for his interview letter. we submitted our documents in november 28. its january 6th we hope we get out letter by this week.

My interview was at 12:00 pm but I left for the embassy at 6:45 am.

Yeah, but it's always better to be safe than sorry.

What time was your interview.. ? It's good to hear that a lot of people are getting approved now..

I don't know how many times we have to show them proofs .. I'm tired..
