Thank you for help. I also learned that the Permanent Resident Card doesn't automatically come. There is a fee which must be paid in order to get Permanent Resident Card. Below is the link to pay the fee.

Sorry, I don't get what you are asking for regarding dependent. I believe your daughter is your dependent even if you haven't filed taxes. It shouldn't hurt you in the process. It's the fact

Oh wow, sorry bro I wasn't up to date on my information on that (used to be that they send it to you, thats what I always heard).

You're right, I added her onto the dependent list.

Another question:

Can a Joint sponsor, sponsor two immigrants? In our case, he sponsored my wife and we need him to sponsor my sisters husband as well. On the I-864 on part 5, number 6, it says that he should add anyone that he has sponsored and now is a permanent resident, but my wife's paper work is still in the process (Just sent the AOS today). So would he write 1 their or 0 (because she technically isn't a permanent resident)?

Thanks a lot for all the help guys! Don't know what I would do without you guys.

Sponser can offer as much immigrants as they want but his income should be according to poverty guideline.. I hope u saw the guideline where it says if sponser is sponsoring one person how above his pay to be.. Or if he sponser two how maximum pay should be.. And just mention about your wife because ur sister's husband process yet not started so no need to mention about him right now..

Yeah the income is not the issue, it is well over the poverty guidelines. The issue is, since I just submitted my wifes AOS package, she is not a permanent resident as of yet, so when I do my bro in laws, would I write my wife in the household size of the joint sponsor?

As far as I know.. Answer is No.. Because she is not included in household member right now until she land in US.. I'm not 100% correct may be.. Why don't u wait until ur wife's process is done ? She is at NVC stage it's not going to take more than 3 months.. Or if you just starting ur brother in law case so at USCIS there is no question like this..

No my brother in laws case is also at the NVC. His next step is to send the AOS package. I guess I will right none because she is not a permanent resident as of yet.

For those of you that have send papers with the IV package, I am going to be sending them original documents (birth certificate, marriage certificate, etc.), do they have to be attest by an office called "foreign affairs" office in Pakistan?

Quick question for all Pakistanis who are going through NVC process or their case completed already in NVC

I would like to know if someone has submitted original Urdu Nikkah Nama (my nikkah nama has local registrar and Foreign office stamps) and original English translation (mine has foreign office stamp on it) without NADRA marriage certificate and they didn't receive any RFE? I received a RFE that they didn't find the marriage certificate. I am thinking they are referring to NADRA marriage certificate.

As per NVC website, NADRA marriage certificate is not a requirement but can provide further proof. In my circle, no one has submitted the NADRA marriage certificate and their case got completed in NVC without any issues. But that was few years ago. I don't know what the latest trend is.

This is from NVC's website. Thanks in advance!

The NADRA marriage certificate can provide further proof of registration. For immigration purposes, the Nikah must be registered.

The original Nikah Nama is usually in Urdu and is required for consular processing of immigrant visas. The NADRA marriage certificate is not an acceptable substitute for the Nikah Nama. Attested translations of the Nikah Nama should be provided. In some larger jurisdictions, such as Karachi and Lahore, an original English Nikah Nama may be given upon request.

I submitted original English Nikah Nama. Nothing from NADRA. Didn't even register.

That's sad. Hope you get your visa soon.

I have seen a lot of men being put on AP for as long as a couple of years but haven't heard any female being put on AP for as long as you.

Good luck to you. Hope you unite soon.

Did anyone submit their Urdu version of the Nikah Namah? Or just the English? Or do I need to submit both?

If your original Nikah Nama is in Urdu, you need to send it along with English translated one.
