Just as I was getting a bit depressed and even posted a topic regarding withdrawing my K1 and simply getting married next month in Colombia, I pulled up the web page and had been touched. I then checked the status and it had been approved. Within a minute I received like 12 emails of APPROVAL. Thanks for those who told me to be patient. It's a lesson well learned. Thanks!!!!

Jul 5 - Receipt date for I-130 petition for my over 21 brother and his wife (both in the UK)

2024

Feb 23 - Sent USCIS a message asking for a processing update

May 6 - Received an email response saying things were progressing normally but that waiting times might be longer

Feb 25, 26 & 28 - got emails saying that the cases had been transferred to another office, then to my local office, and then just transferred and are being processed

Mar 17 - got email, attached to one case number only, saying that my A number was changed relating to the I-130 filing

You know what??? I was really worried because I had a prior K1 and a prior K3. I applied for the waiver (even though I was unsure if I needed to) and apparently was approved without any delays or RFEs. Again, thanks to all who told me to be patient. Stinger. Muchas Gracias!

07/28/07 - Filed AOS,EAD, and AP for me and AOS and AP for my son via UPS .. received 08/01

11/07/07 - AP approved and received 11/12/07 :)
