I want to marry my us boyfriend because I love him and I want to spend my life with him here in the US.

are you seeking some immigration status because of marriage to a USCitizen, or no ?

My status runs out on the 17th of June and I am allowed to stay until July 17th but we probably will get married on the 7th of June.

If I marry him and want to be here with him I need to do that right?! We are not planning on going to Germany. We are planning to stay here in the US!

offtopic45vn.gif I think your HF should ask for a refund since you won't be flying back to your country. They paid $6,000-10,000 (a total rip off, btw) for the program and your return flight was included.

9/6/2013 -Priority Date 5/13 /2014- Case number and IIN assigned

2/25/2014 -Transferred to NSC 5/20/2014- DS-261 completed

3/31/2014 -Approved 5/21/2014- AOS fee invoiced and paid

5/22/2014- AOS package overnighted to NVC

5/28/2014- AOS scanned into the system

6/20/2014- IV invoice email (but fee still locked on CEAC )

6/23/2014- IV fee finally unlocked and paid.

IV package overnighted to NVC

6/30/2014- IV scanned in. DS260 completed.

7/1/2014- AOS accepted

7/2/2014- False checklist (AOS reviewed)

8/1/2014 False checklist (attorney's G28 reviewed)

8/2/2014 False checklist (NVC not sure why it was generated)

I am the beneficiary. 8/12/2014 CASE COMPLETE!

8/26/2014 Medical

9/2/2014 Interview... APPROVED!!!

9/5/2014 Visa in hand

Removal Of Conditions:

10/29- Package sent to VSC

11/1 - NOA1

11/17- Received biometrics appointment letter

11/30- Biometrics appointment

Oh you are right, I have not thought about that ...

but they will get a new Au Pair after me and the agency will know that I am not flying back bc I am getting married. They will get a discount there automatically.

If you do happen to fall out of status then you will not want to leave the US until your GC is in hand, regardless of whether you received your AP.

Could you and others please expand on this?

I thought the AP was designed to allow for travel outside USA.

Now, you are saying - - - not always.

Doesn't AP put you back in good status - - - if you had happened to fall out of status previously? Doesn't marriage to USC cure a lot of problems?

August 11, 2018  18 month 'Courtesy Copy' extension letter received.  Critical number  297

October 20, 2018 18 month 'Official' extension letter received.  Critical number 297

December 4, 2018  USCIS Account shows: We approved your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, 

December 4, 2018, ordered your new card for Receipt # EAC17297003XX, and will mail to the address you gave.

491 days from NOA issued by VSC until Petition approved.

December 7, 2018 USCIS sent notice:  Card mailed.

December 12, 2018 Ten year Green Card received from Lees Summit, MO

499 days from NOA issued by VSC until Green Card received.

December 6, 2018 submitted N-400 application on-line.  Estimated Completion Time: 8 months or August 2019.

December 8, 2018 received notice on USCIS that Biometrics scheduled . . . but the actual date was not yet shown.

December 11, 2018 saw in 'Documents' section of USCIS that Bio scheduled for 24 December 2018.

December 21, 2018 saw on USCIS website that they will be closed 24 December 2018 as extra holiday.

January 9, 2019 went for re-scheduled BIO appointment.  33 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

February 19, 2019 received letter in US mail that Citizenship interview scheduled for 26 March 2019. 74 days after submission on-line.

March 26, 2019 Citizenship interview scheduled for.  109 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

March 26, 2019 Passed Citizenship interview.

April 12, 2019  Received notice that Oath Ceremony had been scheduled for 24 April 2019.  17 days after interview.

April 24, 2019  Oath Ceremony completed.  29 days after interview.     139 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

April 25, 2019  USA Passport Application submitted.

May 3, 2019     USA Passport received.    149 days after N-400 submitted on-line.

AP has no affect on one's status, it merely allows a person who is in legal status to travel while his/her AOS is pending. Even with AP it is still up to the discretion of the POE officer whether that person is allowed back in, there are no guarantees. AP is supposed to be meant for emergency situations, not used for a vacation or simply to travel home to visit family while AOS is pending. If a person has overstayed then they have no status at all until their AOS is approved. If they leave the country before they have their gc in hand, they are still subject to any bars that may apply. AP does not prevent this.
