So the honest customer who paid with a legitimate card should have been considered innocent and not profiled, but you use the innocent until proven guilty on the store. Surprise, surprise.

If the card came back legit.... absolutely. If there was an irregularity with the card then the store should follow up on that.

I go to a store, pick out an expensive item, hand the clerk my credit or debit card. Perhaps store policy requires an ID on purchases over a certain amount. Fine, as long as the policy is followed for all customers, no foul. I show them my picutre ID, which matches my name on the credit/debit card. Why the hell would a two bit minimum wage cashier think that my ID and card were fraudulent? And sell me the items and then call the police? This sounds like a wannabee cop, something George Zimmerman would do.
