Ok, I finally have a date for my interview...14th November...yahoo!!

BUT..my chest x ray was done on the 9th May, so I will be over the six month mark.

I don't really want to go up to London twice and was thinking maybe I could go up on the 13th and try and schedule a medical for the day before the interview, but I don't want issuance of my visa to be delayed (assuming I get approved!) because I want to make it for Thanksgiving if at all possible.

If I remember rightly, it takes about 4 working days to get the medical results to the Embassy - right?

Has anyone else had this, or similar issue?

I have two kids travelling with me also (10 and 8), but as they didn't need x-rays do I need to get their medicals updated or just mine?

Call knightsbridge doctors and explain the situation... but it is likely you may have to go earlier to get chest x ray done to ensure results are with US embassy London in time to find you eligible for the visa. Good luck with the interview and keep the forum posted.

Best idea is to call Knightsbridge. I know the bloodwork goes to an outside lab is what takes time. TB clearance may be done onsight and can be given to you immediately in a sealed envelope and skip the courier part.

Just in case anyone is following this thread....

I called Knightsbridge who informed me I will have to come in and have x-ray and bloods redone at a cost of £160. Need to allow four working days prior to interview for delivery to Embassy.
