Hello, i am knew at this i have a question if my sponsor is retired and receives SS how do i fill out the i 864 form pls help

If the only income is social security and therefore the sponsor doesn't file a tax return, then you might have to use the assets test described in the financial support instructions. If the sponsor has other income but the social security is the additional income needed to provide enough for qualification, then you might have to attach a copy of the social security report he/she received for the tax years reported. Generally, if someone has non-taxable income that if counted would be considered income for support purposes, the USCIS & state department wants to see bank statements proving deposits of the non-taxable income.
