Hi friends was wondering if anyone knows exactly what address my husbands packet will go to as i am currently here in egypt with him but i will be going home soon due to finding out i am pregnant. Our i-130 has his home address on it where he lives with his family but on the second page it asks for a address where you last have lived together so i put that address as well to make sure they know we have lived together.. just wanting to make sure my husband is prepared for everything and if i need to contact nvc before i leave. Thanks any advice is greatly appreciated :)

what is a 'spouse's packet' ? That's a new term for me.

Usually, if there's NVC Doc Intake and payment to be done, folk folk LingChe in the wiki, never waiting on postal things to arrive via postal mail.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

ok i think i am confused about the correspondance is everything thru email once nvc gets our file?

it can be, if'n you establish that first phone call into NVC -

where

you give over the two email addresses on both of you, as the NVC TeleOperator gives you the Consular Casefile Number and the Invoice Identification Number.

Do that? NVC communicates with you and your spouse via email. Sure, there's stuff still to send in via courier or postal mail to NVC, but there are 2 electronic things now (DS-261 and DS-260) .

Seriously, find LingChe in the Wiki here, read a bit.

Many people that want to go fast use that wiki page.
