Hi

I have a friend of mine who is a co-sponsor for the K-1 Visa from Bogota, Colombia. I am trying to bring my Fiance and her daughter to the US.

I have 2 jobs that I have an income of more of the poverty guidelines for sponsoring 2 people, I have my latest pay stub, my statement of service for my Navy Reserve service with my monthly pay which is my second job, and my letter of offer of employment for my first job, but I do not have a W-2 for those jobs or anything else, since I have been in that job for 3 to 4 months.

Do I need a Co-sponsor? and if I do, What forms do I and my co-sponsor need to fill (i-134, i-864, or both)? and will the Bogota embassy accept a co-sponsor?

Please help me.

Thank you for your Time

I'm in the same situation. Please let me know what you figured out (since you posted this a long time ago). I do know that you needed to file a i-134, not a i-864. You will file the i-864 later when your fiancee becomes your wife and you need to file for permanent status.
