I don't have to worry about them day to day because the work at one of our service locations so that's good for me.

One of them always seems to me making moves on me and that scares me because I'm married and she's kind of hot.

One of them has this 1000 yard stare that makes me think she's seen stuff I don't want to know about.

One of them told me how she beat the shlt out of guy on a bicycle who tried to grab her purse while she was walking home from work.

Here's a hint. Black people are just like the rest of the world. We go through things just like you. But, when you account for certain things that happen only to us in big numbers, it will change the way you react. Black women have it extra special because you have the gender aspect plus the racial aspect thrown on top for good measure.

So, you are scared because one thinks you are hot and one is fantasizing about you. At least you know you still got it going on.

And good for her for beating the purse snatcher. Now the guy will think twice before snatching someone's purse. She might have saved your wife from also being a target one day.

Fear of the unknown always keep people separated.

Here's another hint, I'd feel the same way if these women were white, or purple. They just happen to be women that scare me who are black.

Kind of like I don't tell people I have a Chinese wife, I tell them I have a wife who happens to be Chinese.

Last year, I was attending a foundraising event at work. I just happened to be sitting next to a new employee (Chinese woman) we had just hired, and a colleague from another department asked if that was my wife. I can understand the mistake being that we both are Asian. I guess I never mentioned that my wife is white.

Don't you just love it when people make assumptions. Awesome!

In your mind everything comes down to bias.

Thats because you don't explore this issues but thats what I am here for.

DId you know Rich whites get popped for pot at much lower rates than poor whites, why do you think that is?

1. Cops are in poor areas much more than rich crime-free neighborhoods.

2. Poor kids are in trouble with the law at many times the rate as rich white are.

3. The closer you are to a cop, the more likely he will see or smell something.

4 THe more "contact" you have with a cop, the more likely you will be locked up.

5. The poorer you are, the more likely you will drive a junky car with defects to attract police.

6.The poorer you are the more likely you will break law A and then infraction B will be discovered and added to the charge.

7. RIch people are much more likely to have a stable home and know how to use manners with police, perhaps not antaginizing a close investigation and or more charges.

Change the above to Black and white and that will answer a lot though not all of the differences.

man that's a bunch of writing just to avoid confronting the original fact i posted. you can try to distract and make this about white people if you wish, but, the fact remains that blacks are four times more likely to be arrested for marijuana than whites. try to stick to the premise of the original point you were attempting to argue.

Yes Danno, because no one knew about the guy who was shot instead of being tased. Wasn't like they made a movie about it or something like that:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fruitvale_Station

See this is exactly what I am talking about.

Anti social guy fighting at the train station, the police make arrest, he struggles, cop goes to taz him and draws his weapon instead.

A seriously tragic error.

He got what? Convicted of manslaughter?

What more do you want?

DO you honestly believe the cop, on a loaded train station platform with cell phones rolling purposely shot him on the ground at close range?

What do you want?

Uhhh, maybe rich people can afford better attorneys. Just saying.................

The rich kids back in Memphis get a way with a lot.

One of the rich kids in the town I'm living in now got away with murder, literally. The son of a huge real estate company here. He did a hit and run, while intoxicated.

Here's what you are not seeing. How can a trained police officer mistake a hand gun for a taser? The taser is located on the other side of his body and weighs about half:

While there had been previous cases where police officers confused guns with Tasers, modern Tasers weigh half as much as handguns.[11] The prosecution argued that the position of Mehserle's Taser "in relation to his duty weapon, combined with the different 'feel' and color of the two weapons made it highly unlikely that he would have mistaken one for the other."[110] Burris responded to claims of Taser confusion by arguing that video evidence did not support the idea of Taser confusion and, in any event, Mehserle had no reason to fire his Taser.[4] Mehserle was wearing his Taser on the left side of his body (on the opposite side from which he wore his gun) -- but set up for a cross-body, strong hand (right-hand) draw.

That cop was sentenced to 2 years, he served 11 months before release.

On November 5, 2010, Mehserle was sentenced to two years with double credit for time already served, reducing his term by 292 days for the 146 days he has already spent in jail.[124] The judge overturned the gun enhancement, which could have added an additional 3 to 10 years to the sentence.[125][126] He was released from prison at 12:01 am on June 13, 2011.

And it's been said here before, black lives are not weighed the same in the justice system.
