A Republican precinct chairman in North Carolina has resigned one day after an interview he gave to "The Daily Show" aired.

Don Yelton spoke with the Comedy Central show's Aasif Mandvi in a discussion that aired Wednesday, in which he defended his state's voter ID law and referred to "lazy blacks that wants the government to give them everything." He said the law was not racist, but said that he's "been called a bigot before."

Wow! I love people that always call blacks lazy that do not know any black. Ow, let me take that back, he knows 1 black guy that he used to call a "negra." hmmmmmmmmmm

I thought they imported black slaves from Africa to do all the work for them in the south? Now they're gonna turn around and call them lazy? They should make up their minds.

i saw this last night. pretty sure that dude is an exact replica of 45% of the population here in the valley.

And the GOP can't figure out why they can't reach minorities.

All you really need to do is allow these red dog Republicans to speak freely. They usually don't disappoint.

1 or 2 people committed voter fraud out of 60,000. That surely constitutes spending millions or billions of revenue by the electorate on ID's to protect against this obvious rampant problem. ;)
