I have applied I130 for my wife in 2/14/13 and it was transferred to another office in 8/13. I am still awaiting for the approval of I130 for somehow.

I am applying for naturalization this weekend.

How long would it to get I130 approval to visa approval for my wife who is abroad once I update the file from F2a to IR1?

Help appriciated

In our case it was a few weeks. On the day of his oath ceremony my husband called them and put in a service request. A week or so later we got an RFE for a copy of his naturalization certificate and then about a week after they got that we got our NOA2.

I guess times will vary and it might depend on if they are ready to adjudicate your I130. From your dates you must be close.

07/08/2011 - Trevor is now a USC - called USCIS to request upgrade of the petition.

09/30/2011 - Interview date assigned
11/08/2011 - Interview - approved!!
11/10/2011 - Visa in hand
12/04/2011 - POE in Atlanta
12/12/2011 - SSN number received in mail
12/12/2011 - Welcome notice received
01/06/2012 - Green card received
09/06/2013 - File for Removal of Conditions
10/01/2013 - Biometrics for ROC
02/03/2014 - Card production email received

02/17/2014 - 2nd card production email received

02/28/2014 - 10 year Green card received
