Hi everyone i need urgent help regarding affidavit of support

NVC asked me to fill the affidavit of support, but right now my situation is little more complex thats why i am confused,

I got my green card on 2011 then i back to my country and got the reentry permit till march 2014.

Right now i am doing a job in pakistan from nov 2012, but before that i was full time student in the university.

My questions are:-

1. Do i have to mention my income which i earn in pakistan (it is almost $3500/yr)

2. How to send this i864 through electronic processing?

3. Do. i have to attach the photocopy of my reentry permit along with that?

Your case was really complex but all details can be found on the i864 instruction. Since you are currently working in Pakistan right now so your Country of Domicile will be questioned, you have to provide proofs and evidences to meet the domicile requirements. Your reentry permit can be of used in this situation but Im not sure if its enough...

Please check page 3 Part 4 http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-864instr.pdf

Then with your question if you need to mention your income in Pakistan- you may or you may not. you can if you will be using this to establish your income that will support you and your family in US but should also prove that this should not be taxed by US. But of course 3500/year is not enough and way below the 125% of Poverty Guidelines. This is also provided on the link i provided. But its better not to mention though.... It would be better to look for a joint sponsor to help you out.

I almost went into this situation like yours but I decided to come back to US December last year so my residency wont be question, but then again, i did not apply for reentry permit when I went home last year.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
