Delays with London Consulate

I sent in all my packet 3 info into the London Consulate on 30 Sept and had the Medical on 1 Oct. I still have yet to receive my packet 4 and have no clue when the interview will be scheduled. After sending an email to the Consulate, I received word that they have received our paperwork, but will not give us any information regarding our interview date. Based on others timing, it looks like most people get their interview within 4 weeks, but recently people have been waiting 6 weeks with still no interview in site. Does anyone has a phone number or any other helpful information that I can use to see the status of our interview. I have called DOS with no success. Like everyone else. we are anxious to get the ball rolling and to schedule a wedding date.

Thanks so much for your help!

The London embassy is useless to deal with. There is no number, only their online contact form, which they don't answer. Based on myself and other's experiences you're looking at a 6 week wait before they give you an interview date.

We finally just got ours a couple of days ago, which is for November 1st, one day AFTER our petition expires, so now I need to get yet another letter of intent done up, notarized, and spend the money to have that sent over there and hope it gets there in time.

There is no one to talk to, and no way to speed it up.

Different embassies have different requirements.

Avery Cates is right unfortunately, there is no way of speeding things up ,and pretty much impossible to speak to anyone on the phone, they have your paper work so it's just a case of waiting now.it's strange as recent ive seen them tell people different things, some get told to wait 4 weeks after they have received your forms to when they assign you a date ,others get told 5,6 and so on .

They told me to wait 5 weeks and they assigned my interview a couple of days short of that 5 weeks.if you say they have emailed you to confirm they have your paper work.keep that email in your inbox as its alot easier/quicker to get a response from them by replying to a email from them than going through the contact form .
