Aww thanks Deborah! I so appreciate you:)

Yeah my hubby went on his own. I stayed home. He had to leave like at 4 this morning.

They were very nice. Only concerned with the list of docs they give you on the blue form that came with the invitation letter. Most of the other docs they put to the side and said they did not need it.

The African American lady is a star! My hubby said she made the process so much easier...

They asked him how we met and when we started dating and then approved!!! Oh Yeah Oh Yeah

He called me and I couldn't really speak. The process has been so long for us with doing this for UK and US and lots of tears during the whole thing, but now it's all done!!!!!

Glass of wine with you and your hubby when we come to Cali!?!? Thank you again precious lady:)

Congratulations you must feel so relieved! Our I-130 only arrived at the embassy on Wednesday and it is so good to hear people's approval stories, it gives me hope!

Good luck with the move and settling into your new life in the US!

2013-22-05: Sent I-130 to Chicago Lockbox

2013-10-06: NOA1 received - Petition at Overland Park, Kansas

2013-11-12: Email stating our I-130 has been transferred to a local USCIS Office

2013-13-12: Email stating our I-130 was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office

Have now decided to do DCF through the London Embassy:

2013-21-11: Letter requesting that we cancel our I-130 petition filed in the U.S.
