Hello, i recently applied for my K-1 (Fiance) Visa and so far its under process but now i'd like for my family to start there own process. I understand that they'd have to apply a Tourist Visa (B-2), right?

If so, what are the documents that they require and whats the average time for a Tourist Visa to be issued from the day its applied. Do they need any letter of invitation or my I-129F Petition copy for verification of the wedding etc?

Edit: Going to apply for Tourist Visa at either Dubai, United Arab Emirates or Karachi, Pakistan.

We have strong financial statements and property to back our family but its mostly under my parents name and not under my siblings so could there be a problem for them?

I have a twin brother, 2 sisters who are until not married are legally under my fathers responsibility so there financial support is unnecessary.

18 November 2013 - NOA1 (4 days after sending package)

21 November 2013 - Recieved Text and E-mail with Case Number NOA1

25 November 2013 - Received NOA1 Hardcopy in Mail

25 November 2013 - Alien Registration Number Changed

14 January 2014 - NOA2 (54 days after NOA1)

17 January 2014 - USCIS Shipped to NVC

29th January 2014 - NVC Recieved and assigned Case #

4th February 2014 - Abu Dhabi Embassy Recieved our case and the status is now "READY" for interview

24th September 2014 - Interview date - FINGERS CROSSED!

Tourist Visa's do not take long, all the information is on the Consulate web site.

Depending on where your family is from they may experience AP and may need to file soon to get is visa in time. Also some countries the granting of tourist visas is not the norm and many/most may end up denied.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
