Checked our case status here and got the above message message. What does this mean? We haven't even received packet 3 yet. Should we call the embassy? Or does this mean packet 3 is in the mail?

It could mean your Packet 3 is on mail.

Our Status Update was Oct 17, my fiance (the petitioner) received a notice from NVC last Oct 22, and received my Packet 3 the next day, Oct 23.

You can now complete DS 160 online, "The US Embassy or Consulate will contact your fiance(e) when they are ready to process his or her petition.

In the meantime, please have your fiance(e) and his or her children visit ceac.state.gov and complete Form DS-160 to apply for a K visa."

God bless...

Oh wow! Congrats for your case number. You can do your medical while waiting for the packet 3. You need the hard copy of the case number letter or you can just scan and bring for the medical. Good luck :)

Ready means the consulate has received your case file from the NVC and is ready for you to apply for your visa. Packet 3 should be in the mail for you and will give you further instructions. Not sure how things work in Greece as far as whether you schedule the interview yourself or the consulate does it for you, but you should be good to submit your DS-160 and schedule your medical!
