I am under Administrative processing since i had my interview on March21, 2013

at The American Embassy in Cairo, Egypt

so, what should i do now?

You have nothing to do right now , they will let you know when the processing is over

Unfortunately there is nothing to do but wait. The length of AP for each case is different. There are many cases in Cairo now that are under extended AP.

What kind of visa? 7 months it's a hell of a long time.If that was me, i will be calling the embassy to find out the status of my case. Also if you are immigrating through an American relative, i will definitely have my relative to call his/her senator to send a request about my case.

We been on AP since March 17, 2013 I called the senator and congressman they cant do nothing.we have to ride it out, Alot of us still waiting.Please fill in your timeline,Thank you

We have been on AP since March 13,2013. All emails and phone calls lead to nowhere. The only thing we can do is wait and see.

you have to send them emails.. i had my interview on October 7 2013 then got AP on October 27 .. i called them many times they told me to send emails to IV and i did.. after 2 days AP changed to Issued
